We all belong in this world, no matter who we are.

We are all part of the Medicine Wheel, no matter where we've been.

We are all sacred because our very presence is part of the great miracle.

We are all necessary in order to change our world for the better.

It is upsetting to think of the recent disasters we've heard about in the news. It is easy to feel helpless about things and to want to give up. Remember though, that because we are here we are sacred beings, and as such we each have the power to make things better in this world, even if it is only by a tiny bit. Put lots of tiny bits together and they become substantial. We do matter.

There are big businesses that have made big mistakes. It does no good simply to point blame at them or at ourselves or anyone else for supporting them. There are people out there that are all ready thinking of ways to be more careful with our environment. Support those people, instead. Everything must change. As always, we will have to adjust to a new future. So will those who have been careless. Go forward with hope. Do what you can to help.

We belong, we matter, we are part of this sacred experience called life. Every positive step counts. The earth and sky are always here with you, like excellent parents. Like a child, take their hands and make another step of positive progress every day, and be proud.

May you find encouragement for yourself within your love of the world.

All our relations.
